Grassroots DOT Tire Comparo
Everyone here needs the latest issue of Grassroots Motorsports.
They did a comparo of Hoosier vs. Kumho vs. Toyo race tires. The Hoosiers won, but not by much. The Kumhos were VERY close.

Notice how they don't even bother with A032R's.
Actually, the A032R's are probably the best choice for your first set of R's. But if you're experienced, and have safety equipment in the car, then go with something else.
I had a set of A032R's this weekend that were HORRID. They were bald, and heat cycled so many times my friend and I have lost track. It's like driving on a wet track. I'm betting .85g's on the skidpad
They chirped at 45 mph around T1 on the pace laps. HAHAHA!

And if you ask nice, they'll send you a free sample copy. Some of their writers and editors post to SCCAForums, ImprovedTouring.com, and ClubSi on occasion. Pretty cool guys from what I can tell.
Pretty good magazine as well - it's the only one a subscribe to these days.

Yep. It's the only one I even touch anymore. Awesome articles, and the staff is composed of very experienced racers who compete in various disciplines on a regular basis.
