Need help with suspension (bushing) question asap
I was doing a rear disk brake swap, and stripped a bolt....I ended up cuting an eighth inch off of the bushing on the LCA to get it off. can I just put a washer there to compansate..or do I have to replace the whole bushing?
Thanks

Off the bushing itself? If so, replace it. The good news is that it will make the car handle better.

it's not the rubber part...but the metal cylinder inside. aprox 1/8th in. If I use a washer...How lone before I should get the new bushing in there?

Oops. That insert is to give the bushing support. You'll need a hydralic press to get it in/out. Plus you should do the other side too while you're at it.
The biggest problem is that they probably don't sell that bushing insert seperately, and I can't remember if the Energy Suspensions kit comes with an insert or not. I think they require you to reuse the factory ones.
If you don't care so much about your side to side handling, just pretend it never happened, but don't complain about your car handling all screwy
