HOW TO: Tommy_Gunns Earthing Kit
I ordered one of Tommy's last Earthing Kits and just finished installing it. It was sitting in my garage for a few weeks until today (Thanks Tommy).
The grounding kit consists of 4 8 guage wires with gold plated ring terminals. They connect to 4 new grounding points. It includes zip ties and a bolt/washer. The wire "holder" (black thing that organizes the wires) is from an old set of Honda ignition wires.
It's pretty easy to install. You just undo a few bolts, intall the wire, and then put them back on.
Here are the wires connected to the battery:
The wires run underneath the strut bar:
The first wire connects to the VTEC Solenoid:
The second wire connects to the Intake Manifold:
The third wire connects to the head and the fourth connects to the alternator:
Here is the completed install:
Does anyone else's power steering line look like this (discolored like the header):
Result:
Smooter idling, no dimming headlights, faster startup, increased throttle response...
AND 20 HORSEPOWER!!!
j/k.. it's not a horsepower mod...

I was looking into getting one of these kits
mind telling us how much and where you can get it?

I got it from Tommy_Gunns on h-t. It was $50 shipped. He's not making anymore but ask him if he has any left...
Here are some threads about it:

how much did it run you? and are u gonna clip the end of the wire ties?

Haha...yeah I'll clip them off. I'm going to leave them until I'm sure I won't be needing any more slack from the wires...then off they go!

I think I'll leave them on then...every bit of JDM helps!

Very nice install. I'm glad you like it.
Yes, I no longer make these. However, I still have some blue ones left but won't be selling them off right away since the mail system has gone all crappy since the war broke out.

i made a kit for my car, but i ran the grounds from vtec solenoid, throttle body, intake manifold/fuelrail, and thermostat.
did you redo your tranny and head (valve cover) grounds too?

zip ties look like butt. I did this on my room mates ITR, and I used 2 clear zip ties. I suggest you get a couple clear ones, may set you back 10-20 cents, and it looks cleaner.
It really does help though huh! I didn't think it would be noticable, but it is

I did read what he said and he didn't say. Some people claim that the earthing kits improve idle, and somewhat smoother power delivery. So I wanted to know if he noticed any improvement after installing the kit.

Ask Tommy Gunns...he made it. I didn't get a chance to measure them.

I posted the claimed benefits in the first post, but I didn't go out for a drive yet. So...
Both of you are right.
I did go out for a drive and I do notice some of the benefits. I'll explain after a little more seat time...

Things I've noticed:
1. Smoother power delivery.
2. Feels torqueier...I attribute this to better throttle response.
3. Doesn't start on the first crank (meaning instantly)...more like the 3rd flywheel revolution. I think this is because of my weak stock battery.
4. There's no way my idle will be smoother with my motor mount inserts...
5. Well spent $50.
