Default H23 cams

hey you all i was wondering if it would be a good idea to buy new cams for my h23 or just send mine to crower and regrind them or another option would be to drop a vtec head on the h23 block.

dc sports headers 4-2-1
cold air intake
thermal exhaust
stock 15 inch wheels wrapped on nitto's 450's
overhauled engine just 1000 miles ago
anybody with the same or near the same setup what is it supposed to hit. haven't gotten a chance to go the track any help would be appreciated

I've only seen regrinds for the H23
We get screwed on everything.

The only prolbem with re-grinds on the H23 is that it makes the idle rough. If you really want to build your valvetrain i would just put an H22 Head on.

the cam situation is kinda shitty for the h23a i've only seen one company with an actual cam, JUN, and they don't even advertise it, JG and Crower to the regrinds, and so does SPEEDTEC racing, the JG ones are junk so stay away from them, as far as your enginer idle , if you have decent fuel managment, you should be able to calm it down, check out the speedtec ones thou, i had them in a all motor h23 and they were awesome, hard to come by thou...... good luck

Gude: (909) 244-3533

Their cams do not require for new springs/retainers to be used. Call them up and ask to speak with Bill. He's a busy guy so depending on when you catch him he might be helpful or he might sound like a dick.
