Default Wiring up JDM headlights?

...search is currently disabled.

Okay, trying to do a friend a favor by wiring up his JDM headlights. I wired up the sidemarkers, low beams, and high beams. Few things I need help with...

1. I can wire up the corners, but are they suppose to be on all the time and/or are they suppose to signal? JDM bulb was a single filament bulb.

2. How do I wire up the fogs?

3. How do I wire up the parking light(?) next to the high beams?

TIA,
C

The corner lights (and the side markers) should only illuminate with the turn signal or hazard lights.

2. How do I wire up the fogs?

You will need a switch and a relay. The relay should be wired so that the fog lights will only illuminate if the parking lights and/or low-beams are switched on.

3. How do I wire up the parking light(?) next to the high beams?

The city-lights should be wired to operate like the USDM parking lights (i.e. illuminate when the headlight switch is in the "parking" or "on" position).

1.wat i did is i made the coners on when the sidemarkers on which it goes on with parking light and sidemarkers also head lights(i'm not sure it's the original JDM way, but i like the way it looks), but it also works when u use it as turn signal, forgot how tho

wat i did is cut off from there, and use like a driller battary to test out which color is which, i kind of forgot , but i think black is ground, blue is fog, red is parking light or something not sure, check it b4 u wire them. All wire goes with your orginal wires, and i ran the fog light individually and connet it with a switch

hope this helps ... i hate wiring
btw, i didn't wire the headlights, i use the original socket and made it fit it there

Well, I can't get the city lights and the fog lights to come on. I've hooked up the wires but they didn't come on. Do I have to use a different ground? I just grounded the wire into the stock ground wire.

your city light should be spliced/connected to the "low power" wire on your blinkers (or you can connect it to the sidemarker wire if that turns on with parking lights)
as for the fogs, you'll need a relay. i have a diagram at home... give me an email if you still need it..i can email it to you when i get home.

ok look true jdm the corner lights are only blinkers but for some of us in the us we need amber in the front because of laws so i used my stock usdm sockets and dual fillament bulb so they would stay on and blink. and as for the city light use the cruise button if you have one that is jdm if you are lucky enough to get a jdm fog switch it goes where the cruise switch is just use a meter and find out wich wire goe to 12v when you push the cruise button in then cut it and use the out put from the switch then wire the cruise up so it is on all the time and all you have to do to use cruise if you want to is to push the steering wheel controls or you can do what i did and take cruise out all together...

ITR's don't come with cruise control, and the city lights don't require a seperate switch.
