I noticed this harness when I was underneath the car trying to install the shift linkage:
From underneath the car. The white thing in the bottom left is the oil filter:

Here's a clear shot and I'm showing how long this harness is. Not very long at all. I am thinking it's probably not used on the Eg:

Close up of the harness. This picture is from underneath the car. The large black area is the rear engine mount:

Here's a view looking from the passengers side of the car. The red capped at the top toward the left is where the intake goes into the manifold. Notice how I had to use the pliers to pull it up for the picture. Really short. Any idea what harness this is?

Thanks!

PS <> So, it's the 02 sensor, but do I use it?

that looks like the 02 connector, and yes you should use it
Is this thing a direct plug in? If so, I must just be over-looking the connector underneath the manifold. There is only about 3-4 inches of wire for that 02 so the connection should be close by. Unless I have to extend the damn thing
Thanks for any help!
Chill dude, i figured if you put your motor in you would sorta know if you connected your oxygen sensor... Oh well, Good Luck

It is an O2 sensor, but it's the 2nd O2 sensor (the one that goes into your cat on OBD-2 setups). Since you're putting this into your EG, and I'm assuming that you're using an OBD-1 P72 ECU along with the OBD-2 GSR wiring harness, then no you don't need to use it. There's going to be a couple of plugs that you're not going to know where they go since the OBD-1 computer doesn't look for them (ie. crank angle sensor).
