FYI, I comp tested my jdm b16 block with usdm GSR head, and hit 225 across the board.

As for compression during a comp test, and compression ratio, I think you're confused. Comp ratio is something related to, yet different from your compression test results.

a compression test of 240 indicates a very healthy motor. your compression ratio on the B16A is 10.2:1

not to get off topic but what is your compression ratio with that setup?

As per the c-speed compression calculator, I should be in the 10.6:1 range. Scary stuff when I'm pushing 9psi of uncooled jrsc air into the motor.
I guess I'm not a bad tuner afterall.

hair_rice, As long as you're tuned properly, you'll be fine with the Greddy kit. I recommend going with a J&S or some other knock sensor system as a safety net, and remember, good gas will save your ***!

A safety net is nothing more than a term.
Basically my point was that if it's tuned well, you'll have no problems.\
