Will be picking up an autometer air/fuel gauge sometime this week to go with my vafc, was wondering if anyone could help me with the location of the O2 sensor wire to tap into? I got a '98 AUSDM vtec gen5, but as far as I know the ECU wiring is same as USDM. I'm assuming that's about as complicated as installation gets, I think the other wiring with the gauge is simply 12v+ & ground?

 

There are three wires to hook theA/F monitor, the wire going to the 02 sensor is purple, hook that wire up the 02 which is the green wire, hope this help

 

Got the air/fuel thingy last night... it's a 4375, and yeah it's got the three wires. When you say the "green wire is the O2 wire" do you mean a green wire in the ECU loom? There's a lot of greenish wires down there, if I remember from hooking up the vafc?

 

you actually don't have to tap the Green Wire on the O2 Sensor,

Just tap into the D7 (White Wire) on the ECU, this is the O2 Primary Wire, which you can hook directly too
