HID's fit on 94integra with ABS???
Just putting this out there.
Does anyone know for sure (first hand) if the JDM conversion with HIDs will fit on a 94 Integra?? Ive heard that it wont because of the ABS unit. Does anyone have the HIDs on their 94 without problems?? If not i guess non-HID is the only way to go.
Help me out.. if youve got pics then
post em!

I think you should be able to remove the ballast and mount it elsewhere. You might have to extend some wires but it's no biggie. I mounted my non-OEM Phillips ballast underneath my ABS pump, you might be able to fit the OEM one under there.

Sorry but theres NO way your fitting the OEM HID under the abs. I have seen 2 cars with the ABS just unbolted, and pushed back as far as in can go. Its crammed, but it worked. I am selling mine actually because i didnt want to mess around with my ABS. It WILL NOT fit without some type of modification to the ABS, or relocation of the entire ballast which in turn would lead to MAJOR water> headlight problems.
Here is what I did to make mine work, I unbolted the abs bracket which supports the abs unit (four bolts), pushed the entire thing back, and drilled new holes to bolt it down. You can see the original hole in the side, and the new place that it is bolted down.

I do not know of anyone that has had problems, but then I have not driven the car yet. It comes out of the shop on saturday.
I did not take that many pics, so hopefully the ones that I took are beneficial
This is how the headlight/ballast look once the ABS accumulator has been moved back

hey man looks great. Did you get that rad. support painted before it was put in or something?
Also what do you plan to do about the RHD cutoff beam pattern?

Rad support was painted before installation
I don't mind the RHD beam pattern, it will put more light infront of me, and the glare to oncoming traffic will still be minimal. The shield is not reversable, it is acutally part of the reflector housing, so there is no way to get LHD beam pattern

well you will have to aim the lights slightly lower, which means less light on the right side of the road, but oh well.
Well the cut off is a lot sharper than the USDM projectors, so I am not worried about glare at all. There is NO light above the cutoff at all
, while with the usdm projectors, you get a little light due to the chrome housing reflecting some light upward

huh? removing the ballast from the OEM HID headlights leaves an opening?? you gotta be kidding
The ballast has the rubber "socket" that goes over the entire low beam housing part, if you relocate the ballast, you have a wide open area to the inner headlight, causing sever moisture problems.

hi.
i managed to get mine to fit without moving the abs ..but i had to do some relocation of the ballasts. i didnt have to cut any wires..and i was able to plug the back end of the lights up also. the setup works but im lookig to a better setup.
how did u guys do the driver side one? my a/c line didnt clear so i had to slant the ballast upward..

As for the driver's side... i did the install on my roomates 01 gsr and i just bent the ac lines a bit to make it work... the ac lines are pretty soft so you can bend it some without it breaking. But still exercise caution when doing this.
