My check engine light went on and I am wondering if thats the reason my idle is messed up on cold start.
After I rev up and let it warm up, it gets a little better. Once warm, when I rev in neutral, sometimes it drops VERY low.
The light went away, but came back once, and now its gone. ???? but my idle still sucks
Any input?

could be:
1) vacuum leak due to a disconnected hose or cracked intake manifold gasket
2) bad IACV
3) dirty IACV
4) bad FICV
test all these. my IACV code came because my IM gasket was cracked and it was taking too much air in and forcing the engine to run rich.
if you dont find a gasket leak, take off your IACV, spray brake cleaner on it and wash it off and try again.
