Nice times thats a fast auto there! Wonder if you can get your 60ft times any better, are you spinning much off the line? What rims and tire you using on the front?

Re: Went to the track with the Auto again!! (turbozxi)
Ran with stock 15"s and I doubt I can get much better, I'm thinking optimally a 2.39 would be like the best I could pull. I occasionally chirp, but never blatant spinning off the line. If you ask me thats better, traction is awesome especially since first gear boost in an auto is something everyone who's never been in one should experience. Its fuckign scary man

Are you able to brake boost at all with the auto? Ive been trying it on my car, but its pretty hard to control the clutch, brake, and gas at the same time.

Honestly I'm not sure if I'm building boost at the line, I am torque breaking up to 3000rpm ish area, but theres not like enough time for me to watch revs, and the lgihts at the same time. Ran a few reds last night trying. It's a feeling thing, I can tell right after a launch if I did it right.

2step in my hondata didnt allow boost. You really need to put a load on the motor to build any kinda boost.

on your site you say that you never chirped before.. how can you not peel out/chirp? you can do that with a stock auto even.. what kind of tires?

Stock michellins, I've never chirped from a complete stop, or shifting, and don't see how thats possible unless the ground is slick, sandy or something.
Get in a stock auto teg and floor it or lightly power brake it, I HIGHLY doubt you will get any kind of chrip from the tires. I mean I'm turbo and I can barely chirp them. I'm not really complaining tho, 2.41 60's is better then most peoples hondas that are stick that goto e-town when I'm there. I see lots of 2.5's and 2.4's
Yes I know a GOOD driver can get down to 2.1 and 2.2's on street tires, but obviously it takes a really good driver.

Your forgetting how much different worlds stick to auto is, auto has no ability of launching at any rpm unless you nuetral drop it... and if you nuetral drop it you really want to blow up your tranny quickly.

Re: Went to the track with the Auto again!! (XDEep)
if you talking about chirping tires..thats just depends on the clutch you have. I used to be able to chirp 4th easily and sometimes 5th if'm i'm lucky with my CM stage 4 clutch.
Now that its getting older...i'm lucky to hit 3rd
btw, nice times...those 60's are pretty nice. Last time i went to the track i had 2.5 60's..hehe

Hehehehe.... Yep, with that torque converter model "clutch" I bet you can rip 3rd.
Anyway, nice times! You seem to be getting faster and faster, what is new/different besides the cold (you're in NJ right?)

Again, as you have discussed, you must be making 225 WHP or so to fight the drivetrain loss - nice work.
