The stock sender location is the best place to put yours in-if it will fit. The electric senders by Autometer-screw right in.

I am waiting to do mine also...however, if you still want to have a functional gauge on your cluster, don't you need to put the new sender elsewhere?

I have seen some people that have drilled out and tapped the hole where the bleed bolt normally resides.

On my CRX, it is on the water neck that comes out of the front of the engine block to the left (as you're looking at it) of the exhaust manifold.

This is where I was planning to put mine - I just need to figure out how much I need to drill it out so that I can properly tap it.

take off your dizzy and then youll see it, the sender same size as the autometer one and take the stock one out and be ready cause sometimes coolant comes out and then get some teflon tape and then screw er in there and run your wires an voila. dont hook your stock one up or it will pin the needle on the autometer one. who wants that crappy one anyways. it NEVER moves....

you can cut the upper rad hose and put in a metal pipe and tap the sensor into the pipe or drill a hole and tap into the thermostat housing
