Mazda Millenia wheels year and model range?
I've found many ITR owners recommend Mazda Millenia wheels because of their near stock-like specs and being very lightweight. I'm going on a search for a set of Mazda Millenia wheels to use as track wheels but was unsure what year and model range I should be asking for. Anyone know the specifics? Also do these use the stock acorn lug nuts or will I need to get tapered lug nuts?
edit- For clairification I'm trying to find the proper years and trim levels that the 7-spoke Millenia wheels came on.

Good info on Millenias.
I'm not aware that there are/were 7 spoke Millenias. The 9 spoke are very nice and light, however.
Hope this helps.

i got mine from ebay, 200-250 is a good deal... i think all of them will fit, but its just a matter of design u want... also, it looks like it will use a taperd nut...
They are 9 spoke (not 7) and the 12 spoke 929 wheels work well too.
I have a set of each. I think I like the 929's better.

Also know, you'll need traditional conical (60 deg.) taper lug nuts for the Mazda Wheels as the taper is different from the Type R wheel. If you can get the ones that came with the wheels those will work just fine, otherwise visit your local autoparts store and pick up a set or visit Mackin Industries and purchase a set online (12x1.5mm (not 1.25mm as previously stated), 3/4in(19mm) Open Bulge or Open Acorn will work great).

I use mine for winter driving. Can't wait to take em' off and put the R wheels and summer tires back on in 2 weeks
Only 11.5lbs for the 95-96 Millenia wheels!? Tell me this is true because if it is I'll be kissing my CRV rims goodbye in a hurry.
Yea, 11.5lbs sounds about right. They certainly feel lighter than the stock R wheels. Here are mine in action at Expo '02! They will be painted by Expo '03. Black or gunmetal - haven't decided yet. I think Trey decided for me when he posted his Gunmetal's a couple weeks ago

That's so cool you guys are painting them and everything. I can't wait to find mine, I found a salvage yard who had 4 of them but we only found 3 when we were there. Hopefully they call me up soon telling me they found the last one. I'm hoping to rock these at my next track event at WSR on the 21st.

I wana post a picture too
