how to install SRR rear LCA, tie bar and rear sway bar
install the whole rear lower suspension from SRR today/tonight on my Si coupe..... the rear 19mm sway bar is a noticeable difference. cant notice anything with the LCA just bling factor i guess. the rear tiebar works with the sway bar's stiffness i guess. only got to go around the block once tonight. well pics below and some instructions
#1 remove rear hub assembly bolt
#2 remove lower shock/strut bolt
#3 remove sway bar bolt from LCA
#4 remove bolt from tiebar/ chassis
#4 and #5 are the upper sway bar mounts remove those also
this is the passenger side with all the bolts take off. should look like this
should look like this all stripped
the arrows show to remove the mount pieces for the swaybar as the SRR tie bar assembly has a built in mount piece for the sway bar.
when installing the rear LCA just reverse the process. bolt on the chassis, lower shock/strut bolt and rear hub assembly bolt.
for the SRR lower tie bar it is one whole piece with built in sway bar mounts. when installing this piece you will need to unbolt the LCA from the chassis and place the rear tie bar in its place and bolt it back in. where the stock sway bar mounts were, reuse those bolts and place the bolts in its proper place.
then mount the sway bar in its left over bolt holes and......

I'm not 100%, but I think they are on upside down.
You'll gain travel if you flip them over.
The shock mounting bolt is offset.
Edit: they = LCAs

I was going to say the same thing about the LCAs being upside down.
Other than that I think it was a great write-up - thanks for the good work kid1320!

Looks good. I just wish I could afford stuff like that. It also looks like a lego set or the like from when I was younger.

Looks similar to my setup, but i paid $30 for mine... the guy i bought it from was like its funky, and doesn't look right on my EX. (He didn't have a swaybar). Works great with my Mugen 22mm Swaybar.
I urge everyone to be carefull with those lower LCA bolts. If your car is more then a few years old they may be froze up really tight.
Drench them in pentrant spray a day before removal, and/or heat the **** out of them when finally taking them out.
They are easy to break..I know from experience.
Kid1320, where did you get the SRR swaybar, and tiebar combination?
