Default Ls internals in a GSR block

well recently my brother shot a rod through his block so hes going to need a new block.

now he wants to go with a stock type r bottom end witch i think will work fine with the GSR head and all.

what i suggested and am not to sure if it could even be done..was to get another gsr block(if we can fine one) and throw ls internals in it.

if that could even be done would it be the same as running a lsvtec set up with out running an exterrnal oil line. or should he just get a type r bottom end?

yup that will work
Just use LS crank, rods ( or LS length rods) and whatever b series pistons you want.
It;s a good idea to balance eveything
And you'll be set, basically a stroker GSR motor
