how can i get it off and put a new one that works? its a 91 intake mani and tb (si))

 

Most people use a dremmel with a cutting wheel attachment. Then they cut into the rivet an make it so it can be removed with a flathead screwdriver. I use a driil bit and drill the heads off the rivets. then the sensor will pop off. If you drill the heads off make sure you have replacement screws.

 

i use the dremel method,just make a slot in it to make it look like a flathead screw,then unscrew it with a screwdriver,then i found some replacement hex head screws so i could adjust it in the car with a allen wrench.remeber to recalibrate it using a voltmeter.

 

your car will not idle correctly if you don't do this!!!

 

If you don't have a dremel, be VERY CAREFUL with a hack saw and cut the bolts.
