I've seen everyone say the hood,fenders,bumper and lights are different, but after looking at hundreds of photos, I CAN'T tell a difference. Can anyone clarify for me, please?

1. The glass on the headlights is ''shaved'' differently. You can tell what I mean by lookin close.

2. Front grille on si is like CTR grille except the emblem. (It's diamond pattern)

3. Front lip on si, not on 96-00

Those aren't very good comparing pictures seeing as how the hatch isn't stock. It has a front lip, which helps #3 make me look like an ***, and it has CTR headlights, which helps #1 make me look like an ***. Try comparing two STOCK cars.

Ok, so the 96-98 headlights are rounded on top and the 99-00 have more of an angle on the top side, right?

Err....no. There are like...'lines' on the lights. On the side, by the amber reflector. They are a different pattern than the lights on the 96-00.

 

Dunno, too dark, perhaps CTR, perhaps custom.

 

Also, look @ the lower grill. They 96-98 have one large opening, and the 99-00 have 3. Its pretty obvious...lol. Rick

 

actually, he is right. 99-00 is more of an angled top. they have sharper lines.

and thats a CTR grille on the gold EK.

Just swaped mine to a 99-00 front end, looks very nice.

Just got a 2000 cx hatch. silver. Needs bumper, hood, driver's door...but i got it for really cheap cuz a dealership wanted to get rid of it.

 

In later 6G hatches (99-00?), I believe there is also in a big metal cross brace in front of the fuel pump cover right under the rear seats. SCC took this out on their 99 or 00 Civic Si to some weight savings.
