Si and SiR outer CV joints the same?

Si and SiR outer CV joints the same?
I got a hold of the front suspention of an EDM SIR (1.6 16V VT) to mount onto my EDM Si (1.6 16V dohc)
The SiR ofcourse uses different inner CV joints because of the B16 engine... but how about the outer CV joints?
Can I simply swap the hubs and knuckles over? Or do I need to convert my CV joints over too?
