bryan305: don't really know what u mean, but all i know is i've had an enormous amount of positive responses from all over the internet, and i've even been flagged down while driving so ppl could get out and look at it. everyone has their own opinions though, so i respect that.

i'm from nebraska, so its pretty rare for anyone to have something like this. especially in a town of 4,000 people.

i have explaination. first off i was in a minor wreck a while ago and the hood had to be replaced, and i didnt want to spend alot of $$ on an old oem hood. second of all i have lowering springs for it, but i'm waiting until summer to put em on, b/c of the weather.

thats not rice, its clean. h22a to back it up. shooting for high 13's.

well...you could say it's useful since the scoop allows hot air from the radiator to get out the top...

 

wow, funny how this board out of 5 other boards i've posted this on is the only one to have really negative comments. i respect some critisizm, but to call it "gay" thats just immature.

 

not my thing, but the rest of the car looks good.. would have gone OEM style..

Im just clownin man.I really think a oem style cf hood looks better.But hey its not my car.Your on a hard core jdm/tuner site.Expect to get some negetive comments on that hood.Trust me I had some m3 style mirrors on my car whan I bought it and I got slammed over and over.Still the best pic of my car has them on it.I just had to f with you man.Post some more pics when you get ot the dirt.

Car would look a LOT better without the pinstripe and if you found a way to cover up the chrome trim around the side windows. Those things scream 'family sedan' to me, and the pinstripe would take like 20 minutes to get off. I think the hood itself looks fine. So what if the vent is useless? You can barely see it, and the shape looks kinda cool. It's not like a giant forward-facing scoop or anything.

So...drop + pinstripe-less + black door trim = clean

Edit: just wanted to add a couple things....believe me, I hate rice as much as anyone, probably more, but people on this site are getting a little carried away. Not everything that's so-called 'useless' is rice. This is an appearance forum. ANY appearance mod is basically useless. How about everyone with an ITR shift boot in their GSR? How about Recaros in a car that will never, ever see a track? A lot of people like to make their cars look better, and the aforementioned parts are useless, but that doesn't make them rice. I think Recaro SRDs are awesome, I'll probably buy them someday...why? Because stock Honda cloth is nasty, and they're probably pretty comfortable. I'm rambling but...see what I mean?
