As you might know our console is not complete. The climate control console and the shifter console is separated. Now, I saw some pics of this optional equipment for our hatch or sedan civic and they look so much better. I would like to know where i could find this? I also tried the junkyard and no luck with this console. It looks so much better IMO!

 

You can try eBay, but expect to pay a good sum for it. I think I saw one up for auction a few days ago and it was over a $100. As you have already found out, they are quite hard to come across. Good luck.

 

haha, i have something very similar to that one im my hatch, not looking at selling though. I just never knew they were so rare. its not exactly the same, but pretty close.

Yes, they are rare as fawk and it's really hard to find. BTW, i can't see your pic..

edit: I know mine is a bit different, the ash tray and lighter are up on top instead of on the bottom, but its the same idea

i found one the other day and called the guy up and he was asking for 200 bucks! now thats just too much the most i would pay is 110...go0d luck finding one and when u find it let me know! thanks bro

 

OT: but i love the simplicty of the civic/crx climate control and consoles.

 

the climate control and radio and everything stay the same, its just theres now a piece joining the climate control/radio console to the shift console. my radio and climate control are the same as any other hatch.

 

Yep, it looks really plain without it, and plus you can put your cell phone or some change in the mid console.

 

what cars are those from? the sedan?

 

The first pic was from a sedan lx 5spd. I also saw someone here with a hatch with the same console, just like the first pic.

 

They were optional for hatches. I got mine from Manchester in '98. Paid about $40 for it. I don' t they are available anywhere but you can do a nationwide dealer search someone might have one laying around.

 

I have one these also but where the empty space is I have the one with the factory honda equalizer there I picked it up bout 2 weeks ago along with the factory armrest also. My buddy wrecked his car so he let have a bunch of stuff from it pretty cheap. These are really rare pieces. If anyone wants to see pics of it with the factory eq just IM me and i will email them to you.

Just go out and buy a 94-01 Integra Center Console. That's what I had in my hatch. Fits nice and looks good and has an armrest!

 

just post 'em y0! i want to see them, and i'm sure most everyone else would too.

 

I have one with the factory eq for sale. Let the bidding begin.

 

I think the Integra console is better. It doesn't bolt up as clean obviously but it has cupholders and the armrest all in one.

 

you want an even harder piece to find, try finding the oem optional armrest. I didnt even know one existed untill Last weekend.

 

im lucky enough i got the armrest it must have came in my dx hatch it seems as tho i have alot of stuff for being a dx like the rer speakers and deck cover thing those were both options im told. but ya id like to have a teg or oe full console there so much nicer and the teg has cup holders

Yea I still have it but I really don't wanna sell it because these are so rare. this is the only one I've ever seen in person.
