PICS of my rear gsr sway and neuspeed tie bar...
Finnally got pics after having it on for a while. gotta tell ya' they made a hell of a difference in handling foshow!
all you really need is the lower controll arms, sway bar, brackets, and all hardware.
heres a pick of my shitty *** weapon-r coilovers and rear camber kit.
enjoy!

is that the 13mm bar? did you have a dx, cx or something. i also have an si bar that a friend gave to me but is missing the endlink, can't put it on yet though since my exhaust doesn't clear it.
looks good bro. definately helps out on a sol. u should get some nice shocks tho for sure, i noticed a huge difference in the solidness of the body and of the suspension when i changed mine out. you may even like your weapon r's then. looks as though u didnt get the touring (i think thats what they were) with the helper springs. they are hard and bouncy as ****. looks good tho. post up pics of the rest of your car too.
did you get the bolts that hold the swaybar mouting bracket to the subframe (shiny new ones on the inside of the brackets in the top pic) direct from acura, or did you get them at home depot or anotehr hardwae store? i need to get those 4 bolts but dont have an acura dealer close by to go and get them from. do you kwo the specs on them? thanks for any help you can give me.

-dx? i have a del sol si. and this bar is from a 98' gsr not sure what mm it is but my friend gave me everything for $50 a while back, just got around to sharing pics with everyone
-yea eventually i will get some aftermarket shocks. Hopefully my friend will give me his Tockico Blues that he has laying around if that will help any.
-As for the blots, yes i did get new bolts straight from acura. just go there and say you need bolts for the rear sway bar from a gsr and point out the ones you need. cost no more than $4...thanks for the compliments, although i did post pictures on here a while back but will take more shots when i give it a wash and when it stops raining on and off here in the bay...

I have same coilover setup on my Del Sol. My question is all you need is the lower control arm and the sway bar from the GSR?? You don't need any other suspension component. I didn't know it was that easy. Does anyone know how much this would cost from a salvage yard??
Is it necessary to replace the LCA to install the rear sway bar?
I am thinking about buying this 14mm sway bar off a 99 GSR and would like to know if it will or will NOT fit my 93 Cx.
Hell, the 98 GSR motor, axles, and ECU are suppose to drop in. Don't see why this simple sway bar would be any different.

Thanks for any input!

you need gsr lca's. otherwise, the sway bar has nothing to connect to.
after seeing many different designs, i must say the progress auto bar i have is the best i've seen. its only 22mm but it bolts on the outer most part of the lca giving it more leverage than a comparable 22mm sway bar that uses honda mounting points.
thus i'd say it acts bigger than its size because of its design...

did you have to do any driling for the tie bar? i know the lca's and everything bolt up but what about the tie bar. and also what exhaust clearance dio you have? i have a 93 hatch with a apex'i dunk exhaust and i want to be sure it will have clearance b4 i put a swaybar in. thanks
nope no drilling had to be done for the tie bar. it bolts directly to the stock points where the lca's bolt to the frame. i have no exhaust clearence problems due to the fact that i have a stock exhaust so i couldnt tell you. but i dont see why it would effect clearence because it is out of the way from the piping of the stock one.

I can't remember the specs for the mounting hardware, I just went to an Acura dealer, told him what I was doing, and the parts clerk actually gave me the bolts I needed for free
. I think I have the sheet at home, I'll see if I can find it and post the specs. Or you could go to a Honda dealer and ask for the hardware for a 92+ EX sedan (is that the one that has the 13mm rear swaybar?) and get the same stuff..
nope its right...
i just looked at my LS 4dr sway bar and it is on the same way. and when i got the bar the brackets were still intact so it couldnt have been put on "backwards" because thats the way it came off the gsr.
try doing some research before you state that someone did something wrong
