i just recently got a speeding ticket for 95 in a 55. i never got clocked i got paced. has anyone gotten a ticket where you were paced. do you think i have a chance of argueing it in court.

 

No way in hell you can fight that. Get a lawyer and deal with it

was he pacing you for a mile or more? if so your **** outta luck...oh and if he was..how could u not see a cop behind you for a mile..at 95mph.

i was racing a trans am and yes i won. no he wasn't following me for more then a mile. i got on the highway and right away we went at it. do i have a chance if it was under a mile

BTW, the police have certified speedometers. Unlike ours, which say 95 but mean 88, theirs say 95 and mean it.

You may have had a chance if you were going like 10-15 over, but 40mph is a bit excessive, especially while racing on a public road. I don't see you being able to do anything about it. Did the cop get you for racing as well or just speeding/wreckless driving?

Grab your ***** and pay up, you broke the law. Pay your dues and go to traffic school. The cop was just doing his job, wasn't picking on you just because.

 

do you think i could get traffic school with that high of a speed. i have a clean record but i thought they might not even let me have traffic school.

 

Oh ya your lucky too, 5 more mph would of been wreckless driving. I was told it was 20mph over 80 mph is considered wreckless driving. Not sure if thats correct, oh well...

 

yes of course, unless the cop told you other wise. you should be more than welcome to take traffic school.
