You have to engage a turn signal before the car starts. I guess it could be added in as a supplement to the kill switch.

in quebec you get an insurance discount for have a passive stater kill in your car.
we pull cars in to our bay all the time that have those "hidden switch" disarm triggers on them. people always forget to tell us where they are, it usually will take less than 30 seconds to hit it the right one and disarm it. you just press all the "buttons " in the cars, and eventually you get it.

no, they are the same, imo,
nothing can stop a tow truck from stealing your car.
a gps tracking system will tell you where it is, though...
