Connecting Door Trigger Input on DEI Alarm on 92 Civic (already searched)
Ok, me and my friend are trying to install my DEI Clifford alarm on my 92 Civic. We are trying to figure out which wire will function the (-)Door Trigger Input. DEI printout says Green/Red, but we tried that and it didn't work. Anyone know which wire, or maybe that was the right one and we just didn't have a good enough connection?
I'm having the same prob. I was told that is was a light green wire with a red stripe. I can't seem to find one(driver's side kick). Only two green/red on the same harness. Let me know if you find this one out. I'll let you know too.
its there.
what are you testing it with?
do your all your doorpins work on the car? does the dome light turn on when you open any door?

I checked my DEI Techsoft Program and it said that for a 92 Civic the Door Trigger wire is lt.green with a red tracer. It also said it can be found in the driver side kick panel. Try stripping the wire again and retesting it with a good multimeter.

Humm just froze my *** off again and still no good trigger wire. I guess I'm just gonna run wires from each pin and put some diodes to isolate them. I really didn't want to go this route, but i think i must be friggen color blind or something
Heres a tip for that wire, if you have trouble finding it in the kick panel, pull off the driver side pillar and find it in there, it runs up there to get to the dome light.
