Default Black Lug Nuts for stock rims

I am getting my GSR rims painted black and want to get some black lugs. Are there any companies that make black lugs for OEM rims? I know there are black lugs out there, but aren't they mostly for aftermarket rims? I want my lugs to sit right. Most aftermarket rims have different shaped lugs...thanks.

Thanks Mario. Do you know of a place online that sells NSX lugs? Is the dealership the only way to go?

Are Spoon lugs the same shape as OEM or do they have the sort of rounded ends? Sorry that I don't know what to call the difference between stock and aftermarket shapes.

stock lugnuts has the "ball" shape style and aftermarket lugnuts usually has a "conical" style shape. if you were to buy aftermarket black lugnuts for your OEM wheels, they will still fit but they will not seat properly.

You might want to try http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net They're cheaper than dealers pricing.

Spoon's Blue or Red lugnuts have tapered seating surfaces for aftermarket wheels. However, their silver/gunmetal lugnuts are suitable for OEM wheels, since they have a rounded seating surface.

EDIT: Corrected my mistake

Spoon's Blue or Red lugnuts have rounded seating surfaces for aftermarket wheels. However, their silver/gunmetal lugnuts are suitable for OEM wheels, since they have a tapered seating surface.
its the other way around

I am getting a lot of conflicting information. I think I am going to just buy NSX lugs, and call it good. I don't want to spray my lugs cause the paint will most likely come off. Thanks for all the input everyone.

My apologies, it is the OTHER WAY around.

Red & Blue = tapered/aftermarket
silver/gunmetal = rounded/oem

i've edited my post above to reflect the correction.

Here is the part number for NSX lugs that I found from doing a search...
90304-SA7-811...call your local Acura and ask them.

I am pretty sure they will work. The guy that supplied the part number was putting them on his ITR. I just hope they fit my civic, because I just ordered them.

I paid around $70.00...they were like 4.35 per lug. Not cheap, but I really wanted some black lugs...

If your definition of being "careful" means torquing the lug nuts to spec everytime, then it shouldn't matter. Considered how it should be standard practice anyways.

If you're reckless with the lug nuts & key, then yes, they will get deformed by the abuse.

Torque wrench people!
