Saturday there was a "dyno day" put on by a couple of local clubs (Seattle Club
RSX and NWHonda) So I figured I get in on the ation. I was more than pleased
with the results. I got to dial in the A/F a little, it's running in a safe area but could
definitly pick up some more power with further tuning to flatten it out. My max hp
was 283.1 with 190.7 tq @ 10~11 psi.My Greddy boost gauge was saying .8 and
the vafc was indicating .73. My set up consists of a stock b16 w/ an ITR head, IM,
TB, and cams; held together with arp head studs and a stock honda gasket. For
fuel I have DSM 450's controlled by a VAFC along with a MSD digital6 and BTM,
roughly set at .5 degees per psi. My turbo kit is a DRAG gen 3 with a Tial 35mm
and T3/T04E.
This is a pic of the dyno showing hp and tq

with hp and A/F

the goods

The dynoing was done at Carb Connection in Kirkland, WA. The guys there were pretty good, I'll be setting up an appoinment for further tuning in the near future.

Willyboy, check out what rpm my engine is at and ask that question again.
I hope this doesn't sound like I'm being a smartass, because I'm not

No I didn't that was the last run, there were still cars that needed to go, like I said it was a dyno day for a couple of clubs. I'll be back soon, though.
Your setup is faukin clean man... More tuning pull some better numbers out of that car...
But I think thats the cleanest turboed engine bay I've ever seen...
GOOD WORK

damn, how much boost were u running when your engine was dead lean
your lucky your engine didn't blow>>>
the "max a/f: 17.5" is on every Dynojet graph.... dont know why, it just is.
when he is at 15-1 was most likely tip-in and the motor is only making about 40 whp, contrary to popular belief your engine is not going to "blow up" after .1 second of being slightly lean.... takes a little more than that.
the worst place to be lean is at the torque peak of the engine, which is where the load is at its highest.

nice numbers. i have similar setup on mine. what rpm do you hit max boost? i get 5psi at 4k and 8psi(max) at 4.5k, but i have t3t04b, 3" exhaust and cat.
Nice numbers and nice clean car.
Btw there is a closer place to take you car, it's called little monsters it's in marysville. I'm heading there tomorrow morning to get my car checked out (check hp,tq and air/fuel ratio) to see what i need to do next.
