Just put in a Neuspeed front strut bar
Heres some pics for future reference
Notice the stripped strut bar bolt, i had to drill that puppy out

It's like 1:30am so I haven't been able to test it out. I'll let you guys know how I like it after the drive to work.

not bad... i've heard a lot of good responses in regards to that particular bar. Before people started gettin the 3pt bars like the carbing one, i think most people would argue that that was the most affective front upper bar. But only thing that kills it for me is that the carbing, and even most of the regular old 2 pt bars like the skunk2/itr/spoon/etc. are more aesthetically pleasing. But if i had money i would still consider getting it.
yea $335 for a strut bar is just ludacris, hopefully this $70 bar does the trick for me
oh wells. congrats on your mod anyway.

You will be very pleased with the bar. Some may not like the looks but I feel it works better than the other bars because of the wider mounting points as compared to the stock GSR or ITR type bars. Plus, it's a lot cheaper at $70-$80.
Take a few turns and the front will seem flatter and better planted going around corners instead of the usual body flex.
I've had mine since '99 and love it.

Sweet man! Are there any noticable differences in the Neuspeed bar and stock, or the bar you had before? I like that the Neuspeed bar connects in two different places. Looks pretty sturdy.

also, is it not possible to bolt the PS bracket to the valve cover with that Neuspeed bar in place? Looks like it gets in the way.

Alright everyone just finished my drive to work. The front definatly feels a lot more planted, much firmer than stock. Overall I'm happy with this mod, for $70 how could I have gone wrong.
And dont worry about Zetarider we know eachother, hes just jealous.
And Patrick, there was no way for me to mount the bar with the bracket there, it absolutly just would not fit. But its fine where it is right now, the bar keeps it away from the hot valve cover.
I give the Neuspeed Bar front strut bar

no we dont...i never met this girl in my life
I wonder if they make that bar for the 2nd gen integras. I've been looking for one and that does make much more sense linking the upper control arms then the strut tower bars. I'll have to look around.
yes i feel a difference.

Yeah I second that.. I've had mine for years, and its defintitely one of the better mods. Given my car originally came w/ no strut tower, after the install it was a *definite* improvement.

BTW, Keep a close eye on any of the lines or even wire covers that may touch it.
Mine has rubbed a hole through one of the wire covers that was leaning against it.

I have the same exact one for sale for $60 if anybody wants it.
As for the power steering hose, you either have to bend the mount, or take it out. My p/s hose wasnt long enough to route around the bar, so i just let it rest under it.. a few weeks later i discovered my hot valve cover almost completely melted a hole through the hose
