Default jdm OEM HID's

Damn... so i just installed my roomate's JDM OEM HID's in his car for him... and they look really really beautiful... I kno some might think this belongs in the appearance forum, but thought i'd just share with the many teg forum members that are saving for this thing... it is definitely worth getting.

Oh, and for all those that don't have this and want it... i'm in the same boat.... damn him and his paycheck!!!

why'd he buy the SIR headlights if he was just gonna swap em out one month later? hmm. well, i agree, the OEM HID looks better than aftermarket HID. I believe there is a slight aqua greenish hue in the light pattern....similar to the HID on the BMW M5....which looks so clean. ur roomy needs to get a digicam to show us the new front end.

Pics? no good digicam on me rite now, but maybe i'll ask mtk kommander cuz he said he'd help us correct the aim on those suckers.

My roomate had his sir headlights on for way more than just a month... maybe 3 months i think. And he got them, cuz he couldn't afford the HID's at the time, but recently we came upon a really good deal on some used HID's so we picked em up(trade sir + cash).

As for my kit... its a combat front bumper and its for sale IM me if interested.

I'm pdcdragon's roommate and I got mine for 450 plus trade with my SiR-G's...

It works out because the SiR-G's don't go for more than 300... the non-HID's with black housings goes for around 500 dollars... So at the end I still got a pretty good deal... I read somewhere on this board where someone's been trying to sell their SiR-G's for like 7 months...

I don't have a digital camera and so I can't take a picture of it... Even if I could... my car's half green and half white... It has C-west side skirts and rear bumper with the stock OEM front bumper... I've been trying to buy a C-west front bumper forever now... but no one has 'em in stock... But definitely once I'm finished with my car, then I'll post so many pictures of it on ht... you guys will get sick of it.

I heard from mtk commander that the projectors in the OEM HID's are the same ones as the s2000 HID's...

You can ghetto rig OEM HID's and have a fucked up beam like me! lol.

(The beam on the left looks like that because the reflector is damaged)

Those are preliminary Day 2 results. As I stated the left headlight is fucked up due to the reflector being damaged. The right one is perfect but not mounted. Both were NOT adjusted.

Final product tomorrow!
