I am debating taking the drivetrain from my ITR (engine, tranny, radiator, axles, ECU, header, and exhaust) and then selling what is left of the car. It is a 1997 with just under 70k on it. I think I have taken good care of it, not sure what others think, would have to ask people like RStoR, B18CXR, BlackR, Casey, Cosworth, Dogpile 5 and a few others on the board who have seen the car. I am the original owner, the car does not have a slavage title.
I want to go with a hybrid (please, no flaming on this). I love the car, but all I do is drag race it and drive it daily, so may as well take what I have put my money into (drivetrain) and let someone buy the rest of it and use it for what it was meant for. Either to road race, or to return to stock and be babied. Besides the parts I have listed that I am removing, the car will be complete.
Why possibly? Well, I am not going to give it away, so I am accepting offers. If I get what I think is a reasonable offer, then I will start the paperwork. If not, then oh well, no hybrid and I keep the ITR.
The car is a 1997 Acura Integra Type-R, number 51. No body damage other than needing a new rear bumper cover for misc reasons. The only aftermarket thing that will come with the shell is the 15" Slipstreams, the Pioneer head unit and Kenwood rear speakers. All other parts will be stock.

trade for a 94 VX bus with GSR engine swap, +cash..? plus plenty of suspension goodies (basically R bars around), and misc stuff. that would be perfect for HPDE and lightweight car if you ever plan on going wheel to wheel in my opinion..

Ah well, noone really interested without me giving it away? Sorry to those of you who have e-mailed me with offers of 6000 or less, I am pretty sure it is worth more than that. Many on the net go for that price and have fewer parts on them (missing suspension, or seats, or interior, or wheels, or 5 lug setup, and usually the airbags) and mine is missing none of that.
Oh well, we will give it a little more time, and if noone makes an offer I think is proper, I will take it off the market and continue to enjoy it.
I will just have to build that hybrid at a slower pace...
