Just wondering what the time are on some other RSX cars. A friend of ours has one with CAI and runs 15.1.

 

The one at Firebird was tearing it up last night! i/h/e and Hondata and 14.1s!!!!

 

So, he isn't only running I/h/e? That is what he told us. Nice. At least our friend can run well with just CAI.

 

Hell yeah he was, I watched that guy all last night, **** was unbelievable, I had no idea the rsx was that quick with those mods, I thought he had NOS at 1st till I found out what he had done to it.....**** was on street tires too!!! crazy....

 

I still believe that he had more than what was under the hood. Even the announcer whom I spoke with said to "check his trunk". I was impressive none the less.

 

I wil bet you any amount of money he was NOT spraying....He had HONDATA.....Was this a red type s? All of you should go check out C L U B R S X . C O M go the 1/4 mile forum, and check out the offical lis by AWD RSX Killer.....the fastest all motor rsx right now is a 13.8@100mph All he has is Intake/Hondata/Tires/Motor mounts and there are several people running 14.1 with intake and hondata.......Dont under estimate the rsx, you cant see if the have hondata or not, but if they are running really low 14's and you dont see any nos, its hondata

He should be honest on what he has done to his car. Not lie. Advertise for his mods. I was told he had Hondata, or Nos. It must be nice to go that fast.

 

There is NO bottle in his trunk.That car is all motor.He posts on Hondasociety.Seriously,that car is just bolt ons.Thats what damn near 200whp does......

 

Very Impressive!!!! I don't think he was spraying because of the upgraded ECU. I read that it would mess up the engine. I may be wrong.

 

Drastic you heard right, if can NOT spray if you have the hondata ecu....Heres the reason why.....Hondata leans out the fuel mixture, so if you spray, you will run way to lean and then God knows what will happen However, there is good news for those of you who just have to spray, hondata will eventually get a program out that you can use with NOS

 

it's not a matter of leaning the engine out it's the advanced timing. you could lean the engine out and then run a wet kit and not have any problems but hondata seriously advanced the timing to get that much power out of it. ask em and thats what they will tell you.

as for the 13.8, it was in ideal conditions. average so far with hondata has been 14.4's. there is always a fluke. he also didn't mention that he striped the rear of his car and did a few other things to it. it was just a little more than I/E/hondata/tires.

 

Impressive to say the least, im impressed with rsx's. I have a lude with I/test pipe/ and exhaust, best time i pulled was 14.7, 5th gen that is.

 

I have an Injen short ram and I was able to pull a 14.71

 

which header was he using ? did you recognize it ?

I saw 3 type -s in Fontana's California Speedway last weekend.

1st - AEM Cai was all I could see in his engine - ran a 14.75 the 1st. time
2nd - Injen Ram was his only claimed mod - ran in the low 15s.
3rd - all stock - ran low 15s.

Everyone was complaining about the tracktion that day. It was my first time at the 1/4mi track, and couldn't tell if they all were putting excuses on their #s or if in fact the track had bad traction.

 

Nice to know that there are fast type S's in Az. I have only seen average ones, but have wanted to see some fast ones around here. Where does this red type S usually hang out at? Does he go to the pavillions or other meeting areas in AZ? Also if this is the silver Si that went with us on the sedona meet. nice to see your car geting faster bro. How do you like the Hondata flash?

Yep that was me on the Sedona drive.Well,IMHO its a different car with the Hondata...It has topend now! Best mod ill ever buy for the car(besides boost,duh ) Its a must have mod for the EP IMHO.....

Yo i might be down to meet up tommorow night......I met you and your bro wayyyyyyy back in the day when your bro had 400 miles on the R....Met you guys at Speedworld.I had a Black 00 Si that was running low 15s with just an intake and heavy 17s...Think back,LOL....It was before i boosted the car.......There was a MR 00 Si,i think the owners name was ryan...we were both chatting with you guys...Didnt you used to have a truck???Look at the sig for times,that was shifting way before the new fuelcut(7900 as indicated on the dyno) Shes got some 15.30s in her i believe

 

Yeah I remember you guys now.lol. And yeah I used to have a truck ( 2ooo silverado 15.4 1/4 mile time). I gave that truck to my little brother when I got the Type S. You should see my brothers car now, complete jdm converstion has been done. And hopefully if everything goes good, I Should have hondata by march ::cross's fingers:::

 

My best was 14.797 at 93.88 mph at 2200' above sea lvl.

I only had AEM CAI and at the time removed passenger seat
