... 86 crx engine swap
... i may be picking up an 86 crx si and was wondering what engines are a direct swap... i know d-series engines swap directly into 88-91 crx's... but what about 84-87?... i wanna swap a sohc vtec d16z6 in... lemme know if this is a direct swap or not... thanks...
HASport makes a kit for the B-series. Most D-series engines do not bolt into the 1G, but can be made to fit. Another problem is wiring, it is very different. HASport also makes a wiring kit for the B-series swap.
Another option would be to swap the head of a D16A1 onto it. It is a DOHC head, but it is supposed to work and lower compression (great for turbo).

No it isnt a bolt in swap, but you use a DOHC 1.6 from 1st gen INTEGRA then its bolt in. Search more.
