Re: neuspeed konis vs koni yellows (DOHCTOR)
Neuspeed Koni's are 'supposed' to be valved for their race springs, which I have heard are in the neighborhood of 600f/400r. This is what I remember from my conversation with a Neuspeed sales rep. He did not seem to be 100% knowledgable about Honda applications though. Call Neuspeed, and let us know if they say the same thing!

Re: neuspeed konis vs koni yellows (DOHCTOR)
A guy from Koni said that they are 20mm shorter in the rebound stop and not a "shortened" body.
Also, he said that he thinks they are valved the same as the standard Koni yellows. However, he was not the most familiar with Honda applications.
I too would like to know more about these shocks and exactly what the differences are.

a neuspeed guy told me they are 20mm shorter and have stiffer compression valving. dont think they touch the rebound since its allready adjustable.

Re: neuspeed konis vs koni yellows (RussTypeS)

-Ben, who is waiting on his other pair of ERS springs to get in so he can install his Neuspeed Konis and GC's

About SP3 Series:
The Neuspeed/Konis differ from the regular off-the-shelf Konis in a few different ways. First, they feature a 20mm shorter piston rod. So, if you lower the car and maintain the same suspension travel, you reduce the chance of bottoming out. Secondly, we have 5 grooves on the shock body which are seperated by about 10mm apart. Theoretically, you can raise or lower your car about .5" in either direction. Lastly, these shocks are externally adjustable where they can remain installed in the vehicle to be dialed in the firmness setting.
