i purchased some oem 96 integra taillights from this thread posted by boostinboi: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=344628 i paypaled him on nov. 27 and he said he would ship them the following monday(dec. 3). i have yet to receive them.

ive emailed him and i.m.'d several times for a tracking# and he would give me the run-around or just not reply. the last email he sent me was on 12/16 asking me "did u get the taillights today?" thats also the last day he has posted on h-t. he also hasnt has any ebay activity since the day i paypaled him(96turbotegra). his paypal acct. (jtarl@qwest.net) is registered to Teresa Troy, his name is Riley Troy.

im not 100% sure that i got scammed yet cause it seems like he just fell of the planet. if anyone knows him, or has dealt /w him please lmk whats up. i dont think he would go into hidding over $30. if i did get scammed, $30 is a small price to pay for an invalueble lesson.

ok, its official. ive been scammed for a measly $30 from some ricer in idaho.

 

OK, im very good friends with riley, and that isnt something he would do, he must of forgot about it or something cause he put those tail lights back on his car, he is at work right now, but i will call him in about 10 minutes when he gets off and talk to him about it, he is a very good kid, i know he wouldnt try to screw someone..

 

yes, please talk to him and let me know whats up. he seemed like a trustworthy gut when i talked to him through i.m's, thats why i was so patient when i kept asking for a tracking # and he never gave it to me. if the taillights are back on his car now, thats fine, i just want my $30 back.

i deal w/ ups everyday at work and for the most part theyre pretty good. but this time of year they hire a lot of temps and all it takes is for one of them to throw it on the wrong truck and it delays things like a week or so. im sure thats probobly what happened. thanks again riley,
