scratch the H22A, I drive around the city and do a little street racing . Its not going to be a daily driver, only on nice days

Re: which motor????? (js96ek)
Stock vs. stock, the b18c1 and the b16b will have pretty similar performance. The B18 will probably feel faster because of higher low-end torque. B16B will have bigger bragging rights--that's its biggest advantage.
I just don't think a B16B is easily found for 5k.

Re: which motor????? (DevinW)
I found a 99 B16B with 26,000kl on it for $4100 shipped to my door, complete swap and a B18C for $3500 shipped to my door. B18C5 is $4900 to my door

Re: which motor????? (js96ek)
I might go with the B16B just to be different. I want to go all-motor with maybe a little shot of NOS here and there.

Re: which motor????? (js96ek)
if u have $5000 there is no choice, you buy an ITR!!!!
I have a b16a
it sux, i mean its faster than any prelude or civic or integra stock
but a stock itr is faster than a GT and tuned with internals is very nice for 100,000miles
also like a few posts up you could buy a $3500b18c and then boost that or tune it NA and still be faster for an itr outta the box!

Re: which motor????? (js96ek)
I guess that it depends on how easy of a swap that your looking for. Your car is OBDII so the GSR motor would be good and strong Or you could go with a B18b motor and do the LS/Vtec with the B16 head on it. You'll even get more power and torque out of the LS/Vtec swap than the GSR motor. It'll even be cheaper than the GSR motor too. Tip the glass
