Default Should I paint my PY ITR a different color?

My car needs to be repainted. Partially because it was already painted once after an accident, and that paint job was really shitty, but no big deal, I just lived with it. But now it definitely is a big deal and needs to be repainted because my dumbass taped up the broken window with duct tape. And of course when I took off the duct tape, it was below freezing outside and I didnt warm the tape up so it pulled the paint right off down to the metal So now Im contemplating repainting the whole car, but not sure if I wanna keep it PY. Fact is that I really do like PY(more than plain black or white ) but dont like the attention is brings from cops and theives, both of which have already stuck several times and emptied my wallet. If I do paint it PY, Ill probably paint it something like the S2K Monte Carlo blue. Im not sure how much its going to cost to paint what needs to be painted, versus painting the whole car. I know you guys are gonna just give me the "its your car, do what you want" crap, but I figured Id just post it for the F of it

Should I paint it anything other than PY and if so, should I go through the full process of painting the inside and engine bay as well???

You are going to get flames for this, methinks.

Think about it this way: You would have to get EVERYTHING painted, not just the exterior. The engine bay and all the metal below the carpets in the cabin/truck are all PY too. It would cost way too much money to make it look really 'clean'.

Plus, have you thought about resale value?

Obligatory smoke weed every day poll post

Seriously though, I think you'd have a harder time finding a buyer for the car in the future if the car was repainted from the original yellow... It just makes the whole car seem fishy when you look up the VIN and it comes back PY and the car is black or white.

Flame away, who cares.

I wouldnt go so far as painting under the carpet and whatnot. And the car is already gutted so It wouldnt be hard to paint the inside(trunk area). Hardest part would probably be the engine bay.

resale value doesnt matter, I dont plan to get rid of the car. Its salvaged, and heavily modified so resale is shot to **** anyway.

Thanks for the reply

Well then, if the car is all stripped inside, i'd definitely have the car painted inside and out.

You don't care about resale value - you are never going to sell the car, ever???

If that's the case, paint it whatever. S2000 grey looks like a nice R color.

just for the record, Im leaning towards painting it either Monte Carlo blue, or the new 350Z blue, both are very similar colors

the dark silver/gray from the older s2k. it would look sick with black wheels. silver is very easy to clean and doesn't show damage as clearly as black or blue.

Didn't I suggest that same color twice above? Anyhoo, looks like you found your color.
