Tony1 custom turbo kit dynoed
Yesterday tony asked me if I come tune an FMU on the dyno.(inside joke if you noticed my title). Any how here is the set up.
-92-95 civic Si hatchback
-Stock b18c w/ skunk2 intake manifold.
-Greddy SP exhuast w/no cat.
-Stock injectors/msd fuel pump/ missing link/ and Vortech FMU
-Jotech Meng header manifold
- Spearco 24 x 11 x 3 intercooler
-Tial wastegate
-MSD Digital 6 Ignition
This is the meng header that cracked, but tony rewelded it up.
And the dyno @ .5 Bar:
Tony, call me the next time you need a FMU tuned.

Can you give me some more info on your turbo kit and maybe some prices,im planning on buying my pieces in the next couple of weeks. Also Some pics on your intercooler,im planning on using the same size and i need some ideas about mounting it and if i need to remove the support bar.
I talked tony and this is what he told me about the MENG vs the full-race mani:
The other manifold is more prone to cracking, but if you support the turbo from the bottom to the block you should be alright. The collector isn't as nice as the full-race though.

****, tunning stand alone is not my forte.. I only tune fmu! I think if he ran a stand alone and at 10-12psi he'll get at least 335-350whp. Easy.

sick #'s. I am amazed. how high did u rev it too? it looks like another 500rpm's would have kept making power.
just plain sick.

How do you tune a FMU?Thats like a vortec 12:1 something like that?
Me and chris(direp) also laugh when people say, "I need to get my car tuned!" when all they have is a FMU. There isnt anything to tune. But I have a secret with tunning the FMU and if I tell you I have to kill you..
DAMN IT ART! when i read the title i couldnt believe jo-tech had the motor running this quick! but then i looked inside and was kinda disappointed that it was something else. talk about build up and let down, ****! good job on tunning though!
HEHEH ok i was just making sure, cause i aint never heard of anyone tuning an fmu.Nice thought,i was gonna go with the meng header but i want something a little bit better.Nice numbers thought. Also how much psi is .5bar,like 7.5psi something like that?
hey art, you should come tune my FMU
lol
those are really good numbers, hope my ls/vtec turbo w/ gsr cams/pistons can pull decent ones this spring when its in at 12-14 psi...hoping for 330-350 if im lucky...*fingers crossed*
