Default JDM Rear Seats

What: Need help with JDM rear seats

Why: Replacing OEM rear seats

Problem: OEM rear seat metal brackets are straight and the JDM metal brackets are bent in a "Z" like shape

Question: Did I buy the wrong JDM rear seats or do all JDM rear seats have that Z shape metal bracket, which must be modified to work with the USDM DC-2.

What steps did you take correct this problem?

Thanks,

Cal

I'll post pictures to night!

here's what I heard:

In order to have the JDM rear seats BOLT-IN, they have to be the 98+ spec seats. Otherwise the 96spec do not bolt in.

I don't like the JDM rear seat because that's just +1 more person you can seat!

Even though it dosn't have the plastic thing in the middle, i don't think it was meant to allow an extra passenger anyway. It's way too thin and there is no seat belt for it either. It's still just a 2 seater at the back.

I don't think it will fit, because the JDM or Euro ITR doesn't have that big side impact protection bar underneath the back seat.

4 people is the max in the ITR (with or without that plastic thingy) I've had 3 other people in my car (all small women) and that was IT! The only way to get one more person in would be to put them in the trunk os something
