Default Damaged the Accord last night, not drivable, need help.

Ok, last night it started snowing and the roads got slippery. Made it home fine but had to go back out cause my gf needed something from the store. So we're leaving my apartment and the last turn before the exit is a 90 deg left turn, I was going through at about 10mph got about 1/3 of the way into the turn and caught a sold patch of ice and the car just slid somewhat slide ways right into a curb. The front right took a hell of a hit, the rim is bent bad and a small section of the lip is ripped off. The curb height was just slightly higher than the the height of the lip, so thats why the lip took such a beating. My tires are normally tilted inward at the top ( / \ ) due to the Pro-Kit springs but now they look like this \ \ (from the front). It’s not that bad but it gives you an idea because I don’t have a digital camera to take pics with. Since it happened last night and I’m at work right now I haven’t had a chance to take the wheel off and take a better look. What do you guys think could have happened, what might be broke? Luckly I just got done fixing my other car that has been sitting for a year, was going to sell it but now I need to drive it till I can get the Accord fixed.

You likely damaged your wheel bearing, and possibly bent the LCA. Check any ball joint as well. Is the steering wheel crooked?

No, I don't think so, I'll have to double check when I get home from work. The wheel does turn and everything, I drove it back to my apartment (only a few blocks and very slowly of course) and it pulled hard to the left.

Is there anything else that I should look for. I'm probably going to take a look at it on Friday since today is mostly going to be about getting my other car insurred and registered so that I can get myself to and from work and everything else inbetween and Thursday is Thanksgiving. Also I think I forgot to mention that a brake line somewhere is broke. When I got my car back to my apartment and pulled into my spot the brake pedal hit the floor with little pressure. My question is, Is this a hard line or a rubber line, I'm thinking it's a hard line, what do you guys think? Thanks for the replies.

I would think maybe the rubber line was torn from the pressure fitting.

Now, not knowing exactly whats damaged and assuming worst-case scenario what would your guess be on how much this is going to cost me? I know there are a lot of variables but I'm just looking for some ballpark figures.

Sorry, one more thing I forgot to mention this entire time, what year and trim my car is. It's a 1995 Honda Accord EX Sedan.

Also, since I damaged my rim I'm looking for either another set of 94-95 Accord EX rims or a set of 92-96 Prelude SI rims. Anyone have some for sale or someone that does?

Not a chance.

As for http://www.car-part.com yes I was already planning on this site from the start. They list junkyards from all over correct? If so thats good, I don't know of any import yards around here. I'm sure there are I just know of them. Thanks again for the replies.

you either want 92-93 si and vtec, or 94-96 si and vtec rims. I have the ones that are swirlyish. (94-96) but no one ever wants those even though they are lighter.

Yeah, I was looking at the ones that are like straight 7 spokes. How much lighter are the ones you have from the Si ones? Anyone have the 92-96 Prelude SI rims or the 94-95 Accord EX rims that they want to sell.

your 7 spokes rims weigh 16.5 lbs. Keep them, they're very good.

Anyone have the 92-96 Prelude SI rims
first, what I was trying to say, is there is no difference between si and vtec wheels. The difference is in the year. you want 92-93 prelude alloy wheels. if you ask for 92-96 si wheels you will get both different kinds. anyway mine are 16lbs and the ones you want are 22-23

The negative camber on my accord is very very minor...according
to the "spec" sheet my mechanic gave me when i do the all wheels alignment..
damn looks like a big mess.
Good luck

No, not a lot. The little drawing of / \ was just for visual help. As for the exact degree of camber I'm not sure.

Just a little update. I haven't had a chance to take the rim off the car and insoect everything yet because of the holiday and getting my other car insured and registered. I did however notice that the tire is pushed back in the wheel-well about 3 inches or so towards the back of the car. I don't think it got pushed inward towards the engine or anything just back. Any other suggestions as to what might be damaged. I might try looking at it today but I'm not feeling to good so I guess I'll just wait and see how I feel after work.
