Default B20/VTEC power....

Other than the small dip at 5500, nice flat torque curve. Ohh, and Endyn pistons!

Bad *** numbers Congrats!
When did you get the dyno done? Any change in parts since I talked to you in Houston? I'm still trying to find a damn GSR or LS block

Is there any change in compression? And what head and ecu are you using?

CTR cams
Alaniz Head
ITR Intake Mani
450cc Injectors
Hondata stage2
JDM 4-1 test pipe
Cam gears
Eagle rods

Overall, I wish I could have gotten 210, maybe a more aggressive tuner would be able to. He left me a bit rich, to be on the safe side. 12:1 almost all the way across the board.

I think a little more aggressive timing map and a little less fuel would have done me good. Maybe there is not enough cam in the setup because it sure has hell has enough of everything else.

standard. Exh is 2.5" all the way back, doesn`t even bend, and they tuned the hell out of it

bigger cams have nothing to do with compression levels, its more about letting the engine breath. you can run JUN IIIs on stock motors and make improvement.

I can't afford the valvetrain right now, and on top of that, I've seen way too many snapped timing belts and broken cams....this motor cost too much for that.

So what's your point? This thread is not about your "friends" car. He's got good numbers given the fact that they were not able to get his Hondata working correctly at Intercrew. The engine has a lot more potential obviously, especially if someone can tune the car right. As I recall, the guys at Intercrew did not even think messing with the cams would do a thing, much less knowing how to adjust the cam gears. He had to tell them to adjust the cams. The right tuner will net him more hp/torque.

BTW, vtecvoodoo its not about hp all the time, to some people torque is more important. Hp sells cars, torque wins races.

Maybe I should have mentioned that this was a midrange tune for lapping days. It`s not a drag car.

Besides bragging, what was the point of his post? He didn`t even list the mods for everybody. I could post graphs all day long, too.

My point was to show everybody what is possible w/ pretty mild crvtec setups. I`m not knocking him, or the engine builder/ tuner, just offering more info for everybody.

So, why not make your own thread about it instead of mucking up his? If you feel the need to inform, just make your own thread and give others an idea of what you feel is good or bad. No need to try to upstage someone in there own thread, its rude.
He is proud of his numbers given mediocre tuning, that's why he posted it up.

I didn`t "muck up" his thread. I even went to the ITR forum to get the list of mods for everybody. If this thread was more informative to begin with, maybe I wouldn`t have said anything at all. I`m done..

I didnt feel the need to post all my mods everywhere. I just wanted to show the graph. Other than my cams, my setup is FAR from mild, and I think it shows in the long flat torque curve. If the motor was reved a bit higher, I assume I would have peaked a bit more, torque wasn't falling off that bad, but the guy constantly watched my tach, which is off by quite a bit. I might play with it a bit more if I can find a dyno day with reasonable rates.

maxim: chill.

IMO, if the tuner built the motor, too, they can usually pull a little more power out of it. This was the case in the setup I referred to. I`m sure there`s a ton of room to grow in your setup...

Compression has nothing to do with big lift cams? Your joking right?

I would love to see anything below 10:5:1 compression push a 12+mm lift cam.....that would be funny
