i took mines off with a BLOWDRYER... But remember to peel slowly so that you get everything... Just heat it up then it will be all good.

I heard it helps if you spray it down with some ammonia or windex while you heat it.... Not %100 sure on this tho.

At Walmart there is some stuff they sell to take tint off with never used it but heard it works pretty good another thing you could try is rubbing alcohol and a razer blade wont scratch anything if you keep the blade flat.

I just used the Windex and razor blade option on mine. It worked alright. Not the best. If you're gonna go this route, just make sure you have new, sharp blades. Dull blades REALLY make the job not fun.

But it sound like the blowdryer thing probably would work better.

I removed the tint on my car, and it seems that Xylene(xylenol) and a razorblade is the easiest way to do it. It was REAL fun too.

Just spray the windows w/ water, apply a trash bag, let it soak then take it off. Should come right off with the trash bag and a blade.

you wont be able to scratch the glass...u would probably need some diamonds to scratch the glass...a normal knife or razorblade wouldn't scratch it at all...

I've had a lot of experience with tinting windows (learned by trial and error, lots of money down the tube), and here's my method...quite easy, kinda messy.

1) Get a spray bottle...preferably a big one, but any will do. Make sure you clean it out thoroughly if it had anything in it before.

2) Fill the bottle with a water/soap mix. I used Joy dishsoap, worked fine, but Johnsons Baby Shampoo is recommended. Use enough so when you spray the solution onto the window, it's soapy and drips down slowly, not all watery or all soapy so it doesnt drip at all.

3) Now for the tint removal... use a flat razorblade (one of the replacement blades, can get em at a local hardware store), cut a at the corner of the tint, and peel the tint right off. Should come off in an entire piece, but if it doesnt, just get as much off as you can by just peeling, not scraping it off with the razor blade.

4) After all the tint is off, you'll notice that there is that goo all over the window, which is the adhesive for the tint. Now spray down the entire window with the soap solution you made, and scrap off the goo with the razor blade. I like to start in the middle and go top to bottom, and work my way to the sides

5) Think you're done? Nope...inevitably you'll miss some of the good even if it looks like you got it all. Spray the window down again, and scrap again with the razor blade. I usually do it 2 or 3 times to ensure it's all off, since it'll catch the little black fibers of the rubber piece on your door.

If you need any more tips, just email me or send me an IM...hope this helps.
