Well, after several days and many emails, I found a manufacturer of HID kits that uses Philips ballasts and Philips rebased bulbs to put together a group buy for us HID-less Honda/Acura owners. Philips does not make an actual HID kit, but the best kits use Philips ballasts and bulbs - like these. All the details, including prices, are HERE.

Great quality --- seen better prices though.

Actual, as I stated above, Philips does not make an actual HID kit. The best kits use Philips ballasts and bulbs. The company that puts these together is xenontechnoligies out of California. They usually do not sell direct, but made an exception for this GB. Here's their website: http://www.xenontechnologies.com

 

blue tinted.. HAHAH cuz its 4300k PAINTED BLUE...
mc cullough's hids are like that.. 4300k + blue paint gives u 5000k(stock oem hid's without the yellow and more blue) they look "ok" but its rice i dink(in my opinion) hey what do i know.. i've only been through 4 sets of hid's

 

No idea... I'm no HID expert. I just asked them to give me some prices and I would through them out and see what people think.... I told them that $400 shipped was the magic #, but they didn't listen....

 

Its like that because its a cheap knock off 5000k. Get the Ultinon for 450 shipped from Aki, much better deal since their groupbuy lists that at 525.
