someone on H-T (i wont say no names ) wants to know what fuse to take out to reset his ecu. i told him and he said it didnt work. so im tellin him... you aint doin it right.. but he still insists that theres another fuse.

to those who know... what fuse do you take out to reset the ecu? i wanna make my friend feel stupid that hes even doubting me. lol

 

doesn't it point it out on the fuse cover???? i don't remember the exact location, all i know that its a 15 A fuse

 

fuse box by the battery. take out the blue 15 fuse out for a few minutes, pop it back in, start car, let run for a few more minutes without hitting the throttle.

 

1. so take the 15fuse out (5min)
2. put fuse back in
3. start the car
4. then wait?

 

It's the two fuses in the top left. Hope this helps.

you take the back-up radio fuse, and the hazard fuse

 

On my G3 I just take out the 7.5 one.

 

why do you take off both? i only take off one and it works.

 

hmm.. to reset ecu? why dont you just disconnect the battery???
