Hey guys I've skimmed the hybrid page about this swap/install, just wanted some cliff notes, is there anything custom that needs to be done, or welded? Or is this a day project I can do in my garage w/simple tools.
It will take about an hour for everything. Just get you some strong metal about and inch and a half wide and about 5-6 inches long and cut the old mounts off. It is easy you shouldn't have any trouble at all. Here is a pic of the finished product.

Just get a Fluidyne radiator for the EH2. It will cool all you need.

I did mine like this:
Drill out spot welds that hold in stock lower mounts to core support.
Set the radiator in like you want and mark where mounts need to be moved.
Use nice self-tapping bolts or spot weld the mounts into their new locations.
Set the radiator in.
For the top mount get creative. I used a piece of flat aluminum and used heat shrink rubber to coat it - turned out good IMO:

See my home-made top bracket? It holds the radiator in place perfect, and since it's rubber-coated it isn't hurting the top plastic tanks when it gets torqued on.

Or spend about $75.00-$100.00 for a like-new GS-R radiator that will probably cool just as good.

Hey B19, just get either an automatic radiator or a Del Sol VTEC radiator - they are dual core and fit in the stock slot just like your single-core stock radiator now.
I tried this mod with an aftermarket integra radiator (bought one from http://www.911radiators.com) and it didn't do **** for cooling....I think i am gonna get a fluidyne, I hear good things about that.
Ive replaced my stock one with a fluidyne already. Del-Sol VTEC rads are dual core, but no bigger than stock civics?

Using Jeff's method, I was able to do the same install on my hatch. Having an air hammer to remove the bottom radiator brackets helps. Here is the link that works wonders:

Here is my setup .... by modifying/ghetto Prelude & EF Brackets, and relocated/added a '92-'93 GSR Coolant Reservoir ..... Also added Teg's A/C + Components, look at pics for closer view.

...But i'm curious about the A/C too.
?
Did you use the EF-style condensor in front of the radiator?
i'm trying to get rid of a GS/GSR radiator with twin FAL fans. SOmebody buy this thing! It worked great with the second fan wired to a switch on the dash...

That's a 1996-2000 Civic, NOT a 1992-1995 like the topic asks about.
