Default A question for you civic guys.

Does anyone here know if the side skirts for the 1999 Civic SI is any different then the 1999 Ex coupes? I know the styling of it is the same but not sure if it was a different skirt.

TIA,

Chuck

the Si ones are also non "texturized" meaning they dont have the tiny little dimples in the plastic...if you want a good clean paintjob on the EX/DX ones then you'll have to have them sanded before you paint them
good point..**** that means ill have the get Si ones..doh

Also, the Si skirts are made a little stronger and thicker. At least that's what I've heard.

the Si skirts are better and somehow ready to be painted..my EX skirts are color matched with my car, silver. and i have 2 small paint chips, 1 on passenger side, and driver side cuz of people's shoes rubbing againts the molding after a period of time.. just make sure u get enough clear coat on it also, so that the paint wont look too dull..

I own a 96 coupe and I recently had my car painted like 3 months ago. I dont see any little dimples on the side skirts..... and I'm sure they werent sanded down.

They are all the same between 96-00 hatches and coupes. the Si ones are just painted form the factory. that is it.
