nice pics. Reisentoter always attracts some awesome cars.

question, you taped up a number of places on the car but why not the turn signals?

a young lady named Chris drives the RUF GT.

I blew up my Super Seven engine chasing her about 2 months ago at the Glen. That thing was pulling away about 100+ car lengths on the front and back straights. I'd get it all back again in the bus stop and the rest of the twisties. We were running low 2:13s.

After about 6 laps my 1600 Kent pushrod engine said "enough"

That RUF is awesome and the young lady can drive it....

lol...stock pads that had 1/2 to 3/8 thickness
I didnt think that i was going to be going as fast as i was.

Also, is it possible to deform the sealing seat on speedbleeders if you tighten them too much, b/c im getting a soft pedal after every time i bleed the lines.

Are you the same person that pitted with me (Prelude 99) in July perchance? Anyway-great shots of the event. The Glen is what it is-terrific. I wonder, did the red Z06 and the NSX come from far away or local? We ran with an NSX from Syracuse and enjoyed that. See you next spring. BTW: BeaverRun is literally in my back yard <G>. One other thing-never go to The Glen without a spare set of pads-I learned that one too. Pocono can be just as hard as well.

I wanted to go so bad but I called the Glen and they said due to the fact that it was a private club event they wouldn't let the general public in to spectate. Too bad! It looked like alot of fun.

Batoutahell and Budman can correct me on the car type, but this weekend at Heartland Park Topeka, there was a a car that looked a lot like the above GT2. I think the guy told us it was a Ruf GT3, he said it was 1 of 14 made in the world. It was pretty pimplicious.

He was in the novice group and in the 3rd session he spun it out of the carosel into the concrete wall on the main straight there at HPT. Smashed up the back end real nice. Wish I had taken some pics. It was a sad sight to see!

We rolled many o' German cars this weekend... what's with these guys and their freakin expensive exotic cars only driving 5/10ths out there?? Oh wait, yeah... that whole spining your $150K car into a concrete wall part.

Yep. I believe speedbleeders sells additional sealing gunk. I make sure to torque mine very gently.

Oh, that explains a lot
How tight should I make them? just enough so they don't let fluid out? I noticed they were not made to go in all the way, so they aren't supper tight but I still probably put too much effort into tightening them.
