Ok car has mad grindage when going from 2nd to 3rd... so what do I need? #4 or just #9? Thanks for the help

Damnit i knew that was the problem I put a switch on the gas peddle so it sprays when full throttle so when i shift, i would not let off the gas and just press the clutch in and shift then side step the clutch Damnit on me

Craig - Whos going to do the 1-2 syncro also... $225 is going to hurt for that pup

Its a common problem that should be fixed under warrenty... however i don't think they would look to kindly at the ats being in there

 

how would they know about the ATS...they would have to count the teeth on the fd ring

 

Where did you lose it?

 

it's obvious that a tranny was dropped and they have it in their records when the short block was replaced.

 

Synchros are for kids

Take it to another Acura dealer and get it fixed for free under warrenty.

I know exactly what part you need I just went threw this I had to change my third gear, third fourth gear syncro sleeve and my syncros too. Alright bare with here If you get #4 you will get the third gear and the snyro sleeve and the third and fourth gear syncros. if you get #9 you will get the 3/4 syncro sleeve and 3/4 syncro but heres the promblem they dont sell just the number #4 for the ITR if you want the syncro sleeve and the snycros you have to ask for #9 but if you want the thrid gear and the 3/4 syncro sleeve with the 3/4 syncros you have to ask for #3 and #4. hopfully you followed all that.

 

Wait, #4 comes with #3 & #9... So why would i need #4 & #3? Also Why would i need the gear? Would #9 be all i need to fix the syncro problem?

 

that's what I am saying is that the ITR you have to order the #3 and the number #9 but since you dont need a third gear you should just get the #9.

If you want to be safe, get the whole shibang. If your a cheap ***, wait till you open it up and see what you need.

 

3-4 syncro is on the 3rd gear.. they arent available seperatly.

 

How much is the finders fee for helping you locate your lost synchro? Sorry, I'm stuck at home with some weird stomach virus so I have been attacking messageboards all damn day!
