i've got a z6 in my 90 hatch, and i've been toying with putting in nitrous just for very inferquent use. what shot is safe to use on a stock z6? can i go with a 50 shot and not have to worry about blowing my engine?

 

Yeah it is safe. Run a 50 shot and colder plugs. You could also use an fpr and turn up the fuel pressure to be on the safe side.

Just run a 50 shot...it is safe..anything lower imo is not worth it.

if ur going to run a 50 shot of nitrous on ur stock internals of couse it will have an effect on the life time of ur motor but it depends on howmuch u use it and so on i deff agree with not using anything more on a stock motor

 

A 50 shot shouldnt even affect your internals in the slightest. I used a 70 shot on a Saturn for almost 2 years and i took it all apart before i sold it and it was in very good condition....no sludge at all. Just make sure you run colder plugs and if you go above a 50 shot then you need some sort of fuel management. I just used an AEM fpr and i would bump the pressure up a little before i went out if i thoguth that i would need it....you can leave it up if you want but youll run rich and use a little bit of gas....wont hurt anything though. I would HIGHLY recommend the NX kit....i used it and it worked great. One of my solenoids went out one time and i called NX and told them what had happened and they replaced it for me for FREE. Go with a computer controled kit like ZEX. 50 shot should be fine
