Default CEL Code 80 EGR?? How to fix?

Well my check engine light has been on for a long time and I have ignored it. I know . For the longest time I assumed it was an O2 sensor issue since I was running a hollowed cat for a while. I never noticed any engine trouble so I let it go. Since then I have put a stock cat on and reset my ecu. I still get the CEL. I checked it and it blinked an 80. I believe the manual says its an EGR issue. Any one have any ideas or insight on a fix. Is this really a big deal. I've been running a long time with this code and have not noticed any performance loss. Thanks i advance.

You prpbably need to clean out your EGR ports. It may need a new EGR valve also.
