My car died and now it won't start.
Yesterday I got into my car and started it up after it had been sitting for two weeks. It had no problem starting so I backed out of my parking space and headed out of the parking lot. I got to the top of the hill and thought I was going to turn right, but instead my car just died. I rolled back into a parking space and tried to get my car to start for a couple of minutes with no luck.
The battery seems fine, some of the belts will turn when I try to start it, but the car still won't turn over. Also, when I had someone turn the key while I listened it sounded as if it was making a whining sound when he let go of the key. Not really high pitched, more like an exhaling sound. My car is a 91 EX Accord, with 120,000+miles, and an automatic transmission.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The electronics in the car will stay on the whole time without any problems. I can run the AC listen to the radio and everything without any problems. But the car won't start, even if I turn everything off.
sounds like you may try exploring in the cap and rotor of the ignition system, if nothing there jumps out at you, try looking at the ICM(ignition control module on the distributor for burnouts and what knot. Also check all your fuses as well. ICM's are more often than not that issue. You may wish to confirm the wiring of the fuel pump, no fuel, means no burn.
Hope that helps, my friend.
