I have used Castrol since I was born. In my first Mustang, my 2 CRX's, my dads CRX, and up until now my blown ZC Hatch. I am thinking about a change though. I have been using Castrol Syntec 10w-30, and this is going to be my first oil change since the turbo (~48k on motor, blown for almost 1k now). What oil do you guys use, and what would you suggest for me?

castrol gtx 10w30 summer time 5w30 winter, this was on a turbo ex. Well maybe that will change with the new setup, i don't know, i'll see what the shop recommends.

I love Mobil 1, it never breaks down. I am, however, using Castrol GTX 20w50 right now, because I was having some issues with my oil pan and I didn't feel like dumping $5/qt oil all over the streets

 

mobil 1 15/50

 

I was thinking of going w/ Mobil 1 15w/50. On the bottle it says "Race Formula"....W00t W00t; but on the 10w/30 Mobil 1 bottle it says "Higher Mileage engines"

Would you guys suggest the Mobil 15w/50 (I'm in FL BTW, hot as hell down here) for it, or stick w/ the lighter 10w/30?

Castrol RS synthetic 0W-30, it makes my car really fast.. but oil runs out quicker than others.. and its one of the more expensive oils here.. so probably gonna move to the cheaper Mobil1 synthetic..

actually, as far as engine protection goes ..castrol regular 10w30 is better than mobil1 sythetic. Its just that castrol leaves a lot of carbon.
